Northern Lights Fiber – Beaumont Business Contest – Terms & Conditions
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
The Northern Lights Fiber Contest (the “Contest”) has two separate draws. Entry in one draw does not affect eligibility for the other.
Draw 1: Event Draw ($100 Visa® Prepaid Card). Open to business representatives attending the 2026 Beaumont Business Awards Gala on Saturday, November 7, 2026. To enter, scan the contest QR code displayed only at the event and submit your company details through the entry form by 11:59 p.m. MST on November 7, 2026. Entries not submitted through the event QR code are not eligible. Limit one (1) entry per business.
Draw 2: Beaumont Consultation Draw ($200 Visa® Prepaid Card). Open to eligible businesses located in Beaumont, Alberta, within Northern Lights Fiber serviceable areas. To receive an entry, a business must complete a no-obligation business consultation with Northern Lights Fiber by November 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. MST. Consultations scheduled but not completed by this deadline are not eligible. No-consultation entry: eligible businesses may instead email [contest email] with their business name, business address, contact name, phone number and a statement of at least 50 words on why their business needs reliable internet, received by the same deadline. Limit one (1) entry per business.
Entering both draws. A business that qualifies for Draw 1 and also completes a consultation in Draw 2’s eligible area will be entered into both draws. A business entered in both draws is eligible to win in both.
Prizes. One (1) $100 Visa® Prepaid Card (Draw 1) and one (1) $200 Visa® Prepaid Card (Draw 2). The total retail value of all prizes is $300 CAD. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged or substituted for cash or other items. Prizes will be delivered by [mail / in person] within [four (4)] weeks of the winner being confirmed.
Eligibility. Entrants must be of the age of majority in Alberta and authorized to enter on behalf of their business. Employees of Northern Lights Fiber, their immediate family members, and persons living in the same household are not eligible.
Winner selection. Winners will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries in each draw on December 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. MST at Northern Lights Fiber’s head office in Calgary, Alberta. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Selected entrants will be contacted by phone and/or email using the contact information they provided. To be declared a winner, a selected entrant must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, without assistance. If a selected entrant cannot be reached within two (2) business days or does not meet the Contest requirements, an alternate entrant may be selected.
General. By accepting a prize, winners agree to the use of their name and business name on Northern Lights Fiber’s website and social media channels, without further compensation. Personal information collected will be used to administer the Contest, to schedule and complete consultations requested by entrants, and, only where the entrant has given consent, to send marketing communications from Northern Lights Fiber. Northern Lights Fiber reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, fraudulent or does not comply with these rules. Visa® is not a sponsor of, affiliated with, or responsible for this Contest. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations.
